Odaily Planet Daily News: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that the focus is currently on finalizing a memorandum of understanding with the United States, noting that the ongoing mediation process with the US is "time-consuming and laborious" because US hostility dates back decades. "We have discussed some points and wording where differences still exist, and have put forward proposals, some of which are still under consideration as parties express their views," the Islamic Republic News Agency quoted Baghaei as saying. Baghaei also thanked Pakistan for its mediation efforts.

Esmaeil Baghaei stated that Iran has decided to focus negotiations on ending wars on all fronts, including Lebanon. No details of the nuclear issue will be discussed at this stage; whether talks on the nuclear issue begin in 30 days or 60 days will be decided later. (Jinshi)
