Coinbase CEO: Founders Need to Build Resilience and Keep Pitching Ideas Through Setbacks
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong posted on the X platform, stating that one of the challenges founders face is putting their ideas out into the world, observing if anyone cares, and verifying whether they can actually deliver. He emphasized that founders need to build resilience, ignore the naysayers, while also listening to the advice of those who genuinely have their best interests at heart – and possess the judgment to distinguish between the two. Armstrong stated that founders must maintain their passion through repeated setbacks, persist for years, and continue proposing more ideas when a solution proves ineffective. He also mentioned that yesterday at Base Batches, he met with founders building on Base and learned about the latest on-chain innovations.
