Odaily News The Trump administration, through the U.S. Department of Commerce, is providing a total of $2 billion in funding to 9 quantum computing companies in exchange for equity. $1 billion will be awarded to IBM, chip manufacturer GlobalFoundries will receive $375 million in funding, publicly traded companies including D-Wave Quantum, Rigetti Computing, and Infleqtion will each receive $100 million, and startup Diraq is expected to receive $38 million.
