Trader: Bitcoin's short-term continued choppiness aims to hunt longs and destroy bullish confidence
Odaily reports: Trader Killa posted that Bitcoin has recently been in repeated choppy conditions, with the market repeatedly hunting long positions below previous lows, in order to clear leverage and gradually destroy the confidence of long holders. Killa believes that this sustained behavior of sweeping lows usually signals that the market ultimately intends to reward longs, and that one final sweep will mark a local bottom, after which price will expand toward highs. As a quantitative trader focused on BTC, Killa previously predicted the peak of this bull market in May 2025 and has over 200,000 followers on the X platform. In mid-April, he shorted Bitcoin at $74,688, and on June 5, during a broad market decline, he switched to going long.
