CZ: The biggest challenge in self-custody is safely storing the seed phrase—it must neither be leaked nor lost

Odaily News: Binance co-founder CZ reposted on X a user's experience, Rager, regarding a hardware wallet malfunction. CZ stated that protecting the wallet backup seed phrase is an extremely challenging task. The seed phrase must not be seen by others, or it could be copied or exploited; it must also not be damaged by accidents such as fire or flood, while preventing hackers from gaining access. More importantly, users themselves must not lose the seed phrase.
