Odaily Planet Daily News: The Russian government will ban cryptocurrency mining in Moscow, the Moscow region, and 8 districts of the Kursk region starting August 15. The ban will remain in effect until December 31, 2032. The restrictions cover 8 municipal districts in the Kursk region and the city of Lgov, and apply to activities such as local residents participating in mining pools. The relevant decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and has been published.
