Odaily reported that according to insiders, Ken Griffin's investment firm Citadel has acquired the majority of the equity portfolio from the AI hedge fund Situational Awareness.

As previously reported, Situational Awareness, founded by former OpenAI researcher Leopold Aschenbrenner, suffered heavy losses from AI-related trades and was forced to sell its equity assets to alleviate liquidity pressure.
