Odaily Odaily Planet Daily reported that the market experienced a morning dip and afternoon recovery, with all three major indices closing in positive territory. At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.40%, the Shenzhen Component Index gained 1.10%, the ChiNext Index increased by 1.55%, the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index added 0.85%, while the STAR 50 Index fell by 0.87%. Total trading volume on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges reached 2.3 trillion yuan, up by 270.8 billion yuan from the previous trading day.

In terms of market sectors, hot spots rotated rapidly, with over 4,100 stocks rising. C Changxin surged over 12.6% to close at 52.95 yuan, with trading volume nearing 45 billion yuan. The securities sector continued its upward momentum in the afternoon, with Hualin Securities hitting the daily limit up. The power sector saw a renewed rally in the afternoon; Jingneng Power rose sharply to the limit, following earlier gains by Guiguan Power. The gaming sector strengthened further in the afternoon, with Century Huatong rising over 9.5%, and Giant Network having previously hit the daily limit. On the downside, the lithography machine sector opened lower and continued to decline, with Maolei Optics, Bluesun Equipment, and Xinlai Yingcai all dropping over 10%. The brain-computer interface sector weakened in volatile trading, with Innovative Medical hitting the daily limit down.
