South Korea's KOSPI index closed down 360.58 points, or 5.99%, at 5,663.08 points on Wednesday, July 29, having fallen over 12% during the session and triggering circuit breakers for two consecutive trading days. SK Hynix fell 9.6% after its earnings report, once dropping over 17% during the session to a record intraday decline; Samsung Electronics fell 5.2%.
