Emirates Airline Launches Crypto.com Pay, Enabling UAE Residents to Book Flights

Odaily Planet Daily News: Emirates Airline has launched Crypto.com Pay on its website and mobile application. Eligible UAE residents can now use this service to pay for flight bookings priced and settled in UAE Dirhams. Transactions are processed through Crypto.com's Dubai entity and comply with UAE regulatory requirements.
This feature fulfills the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Emirates Airline and Crypto.com in July 2025. When booking via the Emirates App, users will be redirected to the Crypto.com App to authorize payment. Desktop users can select Crypto.com Pay at checkout and scan a QR code to complete the transaction.
Crypto.com's Dubai entity serves as the payment infrastructure provider. This entity has obtained a stored value facility license from the Central Bank of the UAE and operates within the relevant regulatory framework. The service is currently limited to eligible UAE residents only. Emirates Airline has not yet announced launch arrangements for international customers, transactions in foreign currencies, or markets outside the UAE.
