| Within two years, the number of AI trading agents may surpass that of human traders. Nansen is reconstructing its on-chain trading platform. |
Odaily reports that Alex Svanevik, CEO of on-chain data platform Nansen, stated that he expects the number of AI trading agents to surpass human traders within approximately two years. Nansen is shifting its product from a pure analytics tool to one that enables direct trading, and is rebuilding its platform around using agents to trade any asset on-chain. This feature has already accumulated a trading volume exceeding 500 million USD. Svanevik noted that among the top 15 perpetual contracts by trading volume on Nansen, about 10 are non-crypto assets, including SpaceX, the S&P 500 index, gold, and crude oil. Nansen plans to open up trading agents with higher autonomy after completing backtesting and paper trading, in order to reduce inference costs and control the risk of input poisoning. |
