Odaily Planet Daily News: Ostium, a perpetual contract DEX on Arbitrum, announced that it will restart trading at 10:00 AM ET on July 23. All open positions and pending orders will be retained as is and will be re-marked based on the real-time market price at the time of restoration to determine whether they trigger liquidation, take-profit, or stop-loss. The protocol will restore functions in phases, initially only allowing position reduction operations such as closing positions, adding margin, modifying or canceling orders, and automatic take-profit/stop-loss and liquidation. After the relevant pending orders are executed, the function for opening new positions will be enabled. Ostium also announced that it will suspend new OLP liquidity deposits. Existing LP withdrawals will be processed in the next settlement cycle. It reminds users to beware of scam accounts impersonating officials, stressing that officials will never ask for private keys or seed phrases. Previously, Ostium, a perpetual contract DEX on Arbitrum, was suspected of being attacked, resulting in losses of approximately $18 million.
