大资金进场闪迪,一名巨鲸计划开出9000万美元SNDK多仓

2026-07-22 10:15

Odaily Planet Daily News SanDisk (SNDK) closed up 14.2% to $1,589.4 in pre-market trading. SanDisk had fallen to a low of $1,325.03 on July 17, a maximum drawdown of 43.7% from its peak; the latest closing price has rebounded 20.0% from the low, but is still 32.5% below the high.

Hyperinsight monitoring shows that the previously tracked "US stock big winner" whale has made heavy long bets during this rebound. Starting from a zero position at 13:29 Beijing time today, the whale bought 22,910.2 units through 5,380 transactions by 16:50, with an average transaction price of $1,548.2. Combined with existing pending orders, the planned position amounts to $90 million.

As of press time, the SNDK contract was reported at $1,554.8. The whale holds the aforementioned long position with 6x isolated margin, with a position value of approximately $35.6116 million and a liquidation price of $1,357.4, resulting in an unrealized profit of about $141,800.

From a timing perspective, the whale may be simultaneously betting on a continued rebound in the storage sector from oversold levels and expectations ahead of the August 5 earnings report. Recent catalysts also include the start of sampling for the 10th generation 3D NAND (BiCS10) and the Investor Day on August 13.

In addition, the whale's current pending orders for SanDisk and Micron are as follows:

- SanDisk Buy Orders: 22 orders, with a price range of $1,520 to $1,546.4, totaling 35,312.2 units, with an entrusted amount of approximately $54.5709 million. If all are executed, the SNDK long position would increase to about 58,222 units, with a total investment of approximately $90.04 million;

- SanDisk Sell Orders: 2 orders, with a price range of $1,668.4 to $1,671.5, totaling 362.1 units, covering only about 1.6% of the current long position, indicating limited profit-taking protection;

- Micron Sell Orders: 45 orders, with a price range of $99.6 to $101.87, totaling 9,374.218 units, with an entrusted amount of approximately $9.419 million. Execution of these orders would open high-level short positions.

The address belongs to a high-frequency swing-trading whale. It has previously rotated mainly between SanDisk, Micron, Western Digital, the DRAM Index, Intel, and SPCX. Realized gains have been concentrated in Intel, Micron, and Western Digital, with cumulative profits exceeding $16.2 million in the past two months.
