U.S. Senate Unanimously Opposes Pardon for FTX Founder SBF

Odaily Planet Daily News The U.S. Senate passed a non-binding resolution by unanimous consent, explicitly stating that FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried should not receive a presidential pardon or commutation of sentence under any circumstances.
The resolution was pushed forward by Senators Cynthia Lummis and Ruben Gallego. SBF was convicted in November 2023 on seven charges related to the collapse of FTX and is currently expected to be released around 2044 at the earliest. U.S. President Donald Trump stated in January of this year that he had no plans to pardon SBF. (CoinDesk)
