乌克兰接管830万美元加密资产,或为战略加密储备铺路

2026-06-29 14:05

Odaily Planet Daily News: The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine announced that it has, for the first time, transferred USDT crypto assets worth approximately $8.3 million into the national asset management system, marking the country's initial formal takeover of seized crypto assets. The funds originated from an investigation into an international hacker organization, which is alleged to have laundered money through high-value real estate and other assets. The assets were received by the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Crime (ARMA), with the transfer completed pursuant to a court order.

Officials stated that this operation represents a significant step for Ukraine in regulating and managing crypto assets, and aligns with the country's ongoing discussions about establishing a strategic crypto reserve. Earlier data showed that Ukraine ranked among the top European countries in terms of crypto transaction volume between 2024 and 2025.

However, the relevant assets are currently still in a "custodial" state and have not yet undergone legal confiscation; subsequent judicial conviction procedures are still required. Analysts believe that this mechanism is similar to the path the United States is taking to build a potential strategic reserve using criminally forfeited crypto assets. (CoinDesk)
