Gate TradFi Launches Hong Kong Stock Trading, Covering Over 1,000 Hong Kong-Listed Stocks in Initial Phase
Odaily Odaily Planet Daily Report Gate TradFi has officially launched its Hong Kong stock trading function, further expanding its global multi-asset allocation capabilities. After upgrading the Gate App to version v8.23.5 or higher, users can directly participate in trading stocks listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) using USDT through the Gate platform, without needing to open a separate traditional brokerage account or exchange Hong Kong dollars themselves, making it convenient to invest in the Hong Kong market.
The initial phase offers over 1,000 Hong Kong stock targets, covering core industries such as technology internet, finance, new energy, telecommunications, consumer goods, and biomedicine. This includes highly watched representative companies like Tencent Holdings, HSBC Holdings, Xiaomi Group, Meituan, BYD Company, and China Mobile. Hong Kong stocks share the same stock account system as US stocks, supporting functions such as buying and selling, portfolio management, profit and loss inquiries, and transaction history viewing, providing users with a unified and efficient trading experience. Additionally, only intraday trading is supported, with no pre-market or after-hours trading services. Prices, profits/losses, and portfolio market values are displayed in Hong Kong dollars (HKD), while trading fees are deducted in USDT based on the real-time exchange rate. The launch of this Hong Kong stock product further enriches Gate TradFi's global stock product matrix, offering users a more convenient one-stop cross-market investment channel.
