SoftBank to Issue Another $10B–$20B in Bonds Next Week, Boosting AI Financing Firepower

Odaily News: SoftBank Group is finalizing nearly $21 billion in potential new borrowing this week to expand its AI-sector financing capacity. Sources familiar with the matter said SoftBank has increased its margin loan backed by shares of chip subsidiary Arm Holdings by $5 billion to $25 billion, and added $450 million to an existing credit facility, bringing the total to $6.5 billion. In addition, SoftBank plans to raise another $10 billion to $20 billion next week through another mega bond deal. (Bloomberg)
