Robinhood CEO: Tokenization Can Give Global Users Access to High-Quality Financial Assets, Industry Still in Early Stages

Odaily News: Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev posted on X, stating that tokenization is opening up high-quality financial assets from U.S. capital markets to global investors. Although the current tokenization industry is still relatively small compared to the size of global financial markets, its advantages—including 24/7 trading, asset programmability, composability, and self-custody—are becoming increasingly apparent.

He pointed out that traditional financial infrastructure, built on fixed trading hours, closed networks, and multi-layered intermediary systems, is no longer sufficient to meet the needs of today's investors. Currently, founders, liquidity providers, traders, and infrastructure teams are all driving the development of the tokenization industry, but it will still take time for the traditional financial system to further embrace this model.
