Coinbase Launches Regulated Crypto Derivatives and Commodity Futures in Canada, Supporting Up to 10x Leverage

Odaily Planet Daily News: Coinbase, through its subsidiary Coinbase Financial Markets (CFM), has launched regulated derivative contracts for eligible Canadian traders, becoming the first major crypto platform to offer native crypto futures in Canada. Products include perpetual and dated futures for 23 assets such as Bitcoin, ETH, and SOL, commodity futures for gold, silver, oil, and two other commodities, as well as the COIN50 Index futures, all supporting up to 10x leverage. All contracts are provided by CFM, a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant, with a limited-time fee of 0.02% per trade plus $0.11 per contract.
