Iran says it has prepared response plans for various hostile actions by the United States
Odaily News: Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesman Moohebi stated that Iran has prepared response plans for various hostile actions by the United States, including countermeasures against economic pressure. Speaking at a press conference in Karaj, a city in northern Iran, Moohebi said that the United States' recent announcement of launching a "toughest economic war" against Iran actually indicates Washington's failure to achieve its goals in the military domain. He noted that the U.S. has imposed economic sanctions on Iran for 47 years, and the current rhetoric about an "economic war" is aimed at exerting psychological pressure on the Iranian people.
Moohebi said that Iran has formulated plans to counter the adverse effects of the "economic war" and will continue to conduct economic exchanges with other countries "under the nose of the United States" to circumvent U.S. restrictions. He asserted that Iran has "no concerns" in the economic sphere and that the effects of these measures will become apparent soon. (CCTV News)
