Franklin Templeton completes $1.5 billion CFO fundraising, expanding into private market asset allocation
Odaily Planet Daily News Asset management giant Franklin Templeton has announced that its first Collateralized Fund Obligation (CFO) product, Franklin Templeton Structured Solutions 2026, has successfully completed a $1.5 billion fundraising. The product aims to provide investors with a diversified and more efficient channel for private market investment, with the asset portfolio covering strategies such as private equity secondary markets, continuation vehicles, and direct lending to U.S. middle-market companies.
As of the end of July 2026, Franklin Templeton's alternative assets under management reached $295 billion, with its alternative investment platform covering private equity secondary markets, private real estate, private credit, venture capital, hedge strategies, and digital assets, among other areas.
