Iran: No vessel can safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz without approval

Any vessel transiting the Strait of Hormuz must obtain permission from Iran, which has full control over the Strait. The Iranian military is monitoring U.S. movements in the region.

Trump's claim about controlling the strait is a lie, and is merely a manifestation of his military's helplessness.
