Floating profit nearly $160,000, a whale re-opens long position on Intel before earnings report

Odaily Planet Daily reported, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, the "US Stock Trading King" reopened a long position on INTC on the evening of July 17 (last Friday) Beijing time, buying 25,000 shares in batches within about half an hour. He is currently holding a 10x leveraged position with an average entry price of $94.57.

As of press time, INTC is up 5.95% on the day, temporarily trading at $100.96. The whale's position is worth approximately $2.524 million, with a floating profit of about $159,700, a return rate of 67.56%, and a liquidation price of $89.69.

During the previous market decline, the "US Stock Trading King" had once shrunk his large position to Micron Technology (MU). On the evening of July 8, he closed out the previous round of 23,000 INTC long positions at an average price of $105.31, realizing a profit of about $920,300. After re-entering the market nine days later, his current position size is 2,000 shares larger than the previous round.

Currently, the whale continues to hold a long position in MU worth approximately $3.3782 million, with an average entry price of $505.30 and a floating profit of about $1.4833 million. In addition, he has tried long positions in two other storage stocks with smaller positions: 250 shares of Sandisk (SNDK), worth about $367,500, average price $1,438.72, floating profit about $7,821; and 240 shares of SK Hynix (SKHX), worth about $300,600, average price $1,412.39, floating loss of about $38,400.

Intel will release its Q2 2026 earnings report after the US market close on July 23 (early morning of July 24 Beijing time). The company previously guided quarterly revenue of $13.8 billion to $14.8 billion and non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.20.
