Byte AI capital expenditure raised; 2026 data center and AI infrastructure spending may reach $70 billion

According to the latest reports, Byte is discussing investing up to approximately $70 billion in capital expenditure for data centers and AI infrastructure in 2026, with some of the funds coming from its estimated $50 billion profit in 2025; in more aggressive internal plans, discussions have also been held to further increase capital expenditure in 2027 to the scale of $89 billion to $100 billion.
