Polymarket team calls Kalshi executive an "idiot" for criticizing Polymarket's lack of KYC and demanding it shut down

Odaily Planet Daily News: Two prediction market platform team members clashed on platform X over KYC issues. The dispute began when Polymarket's VP of Engineering, Josh Stevens, denied that the platform would fully implement KYC. Kalshi's Head of Enforcement, @robertjdenault, quoted the relevant post, stating that Polymarket should have implemented KYC verification long ago. He claimed that Russians and Iranians are freely trading on the platform, and insiders are also using it recklessly. If Polymarket truly wants to prevent this, they should either bring all operations into compliance (starting with KYC) or shut down.

In response, Polymarket official Mustafa called the Kalshi executive an "idiot" in the comments under the post.
