Bitdeer appoints former Corsair executive Michael Potter as new CFO
Odaily Odaily reports that Bitdeer has announced a management reshuffle. Current Chief Financial Officer Jianchun Liu will step down at the end of June and transition to an advisory role. The company has simultaneously appointed seasoned technology finance executive Michael Potter as the new CFO.
Potter served as CFO of Corsair Gaming (2019–2025), leading its IPO and multiple capital market transactions, and has financial management experience at several technology and semiconductor companies including Lattice Semiconductor and Honeywell.
In terms of market reaction, the company's stock price fell about 3% in early trading but remains near its six-month high range. Analysts believe this CFO change could further strengthen its capital market narrative as an AI infrastructure company. (The Block)
