Iranian official: Any final agreement with the US must align with Iran's national interests

Boroujerdi said that according to the preliminary draft agreement between Iran and the US, the first step for the US would be to commit to a comprehensive 60-day ceasefire across all fronts, including Lebanon. The draft agreement also calls for the unfreezing of most of Iran's frozen assets and the lifting of the maritime blockade. Boroujerdi stated that Iran's diplomatic apparatus and state system will not make decisions based on posts from US President Donald Trump.
