Iranian People: U.S. Words and Actions Untrustworthy, Must Remain Highly Vigilant
Odaily Planet Daily News In response to the U.S. strikes in southern Iran, Iranian citizens expressed that U.S. words and actions are untrustworthy and voiced skepticism about the possibility of reaching an agreement between the U.S. and Iran. One Iranian citizen stated: "The Iran nuclear deal is an example; the U.S. abandoned everything. This time, the opening of fire is the same. The contradictory statements from the U.S. side clearly show that there is no guarantee behind any of their words. However, I don’t think the war will continue because the U.S. has paid a heavy price and they are also very afraid. We control the Strait of Hormuz, and to the U.S., this could be worse than us having a hundred nuclear bombs. We are very familiar with those U.S. statements; they are all untrustworthy. We must be highly vigilant, and people need to be careful. Because we must consider that things similar to the U.S. withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal could happen again. In other words, the U.S.-Iran agreement could be torn up." (CCTV)
