Odaily Planet Daily News: BlackRock has filed an application for a new tokenized fund structure with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and has once again chosen Securitize to provide infrastructure support.
BlackRock's first tokenized fund, BUIDL, launched in 2024, has grown to approximately $2.3 billion in assets under management. The new application outlines a model that integrates blockchain-based ownership records with a regulated transfer agent and investor onboarding system.
