Canada proposes banning cryptocurrency for political donations

Introduced on March 26, the bill is part of election law reform aimed at enhancing transparency, strengthening enforcement, and reducing the risk of foreign interference. It will proceed to committee review, where further amendments may be made, and no fixed review date has been set yet.
