Bank of America: Server CPU market could exceed $170 billion by 2030, benefiting Intel and AMD

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Vivek Arya, an analyst at Bank of America Global Research, has made a new forecast that the total addressable market (TAM) for server CPUs will surge fourfold from $35 billion in 2025 to over $170 billion by 2030. This far exceeds the bank's previous forecast of $125 billion for the server CPU market size in 2030.

Arya wrote in the report: "We believe the rise of agentic AI is a powerful demand accelerator that not only expands the market opportunity for CPUs but also benefits Intel, AMD, and challengers based on the Arm architecture." (DeItaone)
