Odaily Planet Daily News: In the early hours of the 3rd local time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran issued a statement stating that on the evening of the 2nd, US artillery shells hit an Iranian oil tanker near the Strait of Hormuz, damaging its engine room. In response to "this act of aggression and the violation of the rules of the Strait of Hormuz," the IRGC attacked a ship belonging to the US and Israel, named "Panaya," with missiles. The statement said that in a new round of aggression, the US military attacked an IRGC communication tower located in the south of Qeshm Island. In response, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched missile and drone attacks on a US air force base in a certain country in the region and the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet. Iran has previously warned that if aggression occurs, it will take a completely different and more severe response.
