This vulnerability allows any local low-privileged user to directly obtain root privileges on almost all mainstream Linux distributions. It is a deterministic logic vulnerability that does not rely on complex race conditions for exploitation. The attack has a very high success rate and does not cause kernel crashes, making it extremely dangerous. Linux users are advised to upgrade their systems promptly.
