US media interprets Trump's "Freedom Plan" as "Guiding" rather than "Escorting"

CNN, citing a US official, said the plan "is not an escort mission" and indicated that US forces would "guide stranded ships." Axios, citing a US official, reported that US Navy vessels would be "on standby nearby" in case Iran attacks commercial ships.
