Iran's UN representative accuses the US of "piracy", demands the release of seized vessels

Odaily: According to Al Jazeera, in a letter to UN Secretary-General Guterres, Iran's UN representative stated that Iran rejects the US's acts of piracy against Iranian vessels and that Iran has the right to respond. The US must bear responsibility for the impact of its piracy on regional and global security. The Iranian representative also called on the Security Council to demand the immediate release of the seized Iranian vessels. (Jin Shi)
