Pharos launches AI Agent Carnival with 150,000 PROS prize pool to drive Agent transformation into production-grade applications
- Core Insight: Pharos Network has launched the "Create Like a PRO · Agent Carnival" event, aiming to incentivize the transition of AI Agents from the demo phase to production-grade applications capable of autonomous on-chain economic activities through a prize pool of 150,000 $PROS, completing the shift from narrative to scaled validation.
- Key Elements:
- Pharos believes the true value of AI Agents lies in operating as on-chain economic entities, requiring a Layer 1 and entry platform designed for high frequency, low cost, and composability.
- The Carnival is divided into two phases: "Developer Season" (May 25 – July 21) and "AI Carnival" (June 23 – July 21), employing a "Skills First, Agents Follow" architecture to foster ecosystem accumulation.
- Developers in the hackathon must call upon real Skills to complete complex tasks, building a value chain from "Skill Creators → Agent Developers → Users".
- The total event prize pool is 150,000 PROS, with 100,000 allocated to incentivize developers and infrastructure, and 50,000 for user participation and social interaction.
- Pharos is an institutional-grade Layer 1 public chain, integrating ZK-KYC/AML, AsyncBFT consensus, and dualVM, focusing on real-world finance, and has partnered with leading institutions such as Circle and Chainlink.

Pharos Network, an institutional-grade Layer 1 blockchain focused on RealFi (Real World Finance) and AI, announced the launch of a six-week global program marking the first anniversary of its public testnet, kicking off the summer of Alpha $PROS. Among the initiatives, the "Create Like a PRO · Agent Carnival" runs from today until July 21, with Pharos allocating a total prize pool of up to 150,000 $PROS tokens.
Over the past two years, AI Agents have bridged the gap from concept to product in traditional fields, but their on-chain presence remains largely in the demonstration phase. Most current Agents lack reusable skill assets and have yet to establish persistent social graphs and payment behaviors. Pharos believes the true value of AI Agents lies in their ability to operate as native on-chain economic entities, including autonomously holding assets, calling tools, coordinating with peers, and participating in value transfer on their own behalf. This transformation requires a Layer 1 built for high-frequency, low-cost, and composable Agent behaviors, as well as an entry platform capable of seamless orchestration. This carnival serves as Pharos's first large-scale operational test at the AI Agent layer, aiming to propel Agents from demos to continuous, production-grade economic activity, achieving the critical leap from narrative to scalable validation.
Wish Wu, Co-founder and CEO of Pharos, stated: "Over the past two years, there has been far more talk than action surrounding the AI Agent narrative. With this carnival, we are getting down to business, deploying real incentives and taking concrete steps. This also marks the first time Pharos's AI Agent layer is publicly subjected to stress testing and developer scrutiny, refocusing attention back on real-world implementation."
Anvita Flow will serve as the unified entry point for this Agent Carnival, connecting fragmented Agent behaviors into an observable and incentivized on-chain pathway, encompassing Skill design, Agent creation, Agent social interaction, Agent payments, and Agent co-creation.
The carnival is divided into two closely linked phases. The first phase, the "Developer Season," kicks off with a dual-hackathon structure of "Skills First, Agents Follow," aiming to progress from capability modules to complete intelligent agents within six weeks. An internal pioneer workshop was launched on May 25, followed by the large-scale public hackathon of the Anvita Flow Skills Summit starting today, culminating in the Pharos Agent Arena on July 6.
This hackathon has garnered support from industry sponsors including Alibaba Cloud, GoPlus, and CertiK. This progressive design requires Agents to call upon real Skills to complete complex tasks, pushing builders to transition from creating one-time demos to building reusable tools and production-grade primitives, establishing an on-chain value chain of "Skill Creator → Agent Developer → User Invocation."
The "AI Carnival," succeeding the Developer Season, will run from June 23 to July 21. Building upon assets developed during the Developer Season, it will guide users to gradually develop Agent-mediated social interaction and payment habits through the "Gravity Launch" track focusing on social connections and the "Resonance Creator" hub focusing on Agent-generated content, utilizing multi-dimensional leaderboards.
To support this end-to-end ecosystem loop, Pharos has allocated a total activity prize pool of 150,000 PROS tokens, incentivizing genuinely used and long-term retained assets. On the developer and infrastructure side, 100,000 PROS will be distributed for skill hackathons, development-side Agent invocation contests, Steward Agent first deployment incentives, and invocation contests. The remaining 50,000 PROS are dedicated to user participation, covering social and transfer tracks, top transfer and top friend leaderboards, and the anniversary community co-creation track.
By closing the value loop between skill creators, Agent developers, and AI users on a single chain, the network effects of the Pharos AI Agent layer are progressing from zero to one, heading towards one to a hundred. Exceptional developers and teams will enter the Pharos incubator selection pool, with opportunities to receive Pharos incubation support.
