Gate Releases Latest Reserve Report: Total Reserve Ratio at 125%, BTC Reserve Ratio as High as 140.69%

According to an official announcement, Gate has released its latest Proof of Reserves report. The data shows that the platform's reserve system remains highly robust. As of January 6, 2026, the overall reserve ratio has increased from 124% to 125%, with the total reserve value reaching $9.478 billion. This figure is significantly higher than the 100% industry safety benchmark, supporting nearly 500 different types of user assets, demonstrating the platform's ample asset reserves and risk buffer capacity even in volatile market conditions.

Regarding core assets, the user BTC asset size is 17,640 coins, with corresponding platform reserves of 24,817 coins, further increasing the excess reserve ratio from 33.96% to 40.69%. User ETH assets increased from 332,801 coins to 337,565 coins, while platform reserves also grew from 419,096 coins to 419,320 coins, resulting in an excess reserve ratio of 24.22%. For stablecoins, the user USDT asset size grew from 1.333 billion coins in the previous period to 1.385 billion coins, with platform reserves at 1.516 billion coins, yielding a current excess reserve ratio of 9.45%.

Furthermore, the reserve ratios for other major assets such as GT, USDC, and XRP are also significantly above the 100% reserve standard, reaching 144.82%, 188.67%, and 116.09% respectively, further strengthening the platform's overall asset security capabilities.
