Letter to all CZ staff: Don't waste your life on a job you don't like
Today, Odaily exclusively learned that CZ issued an internal staff letter to Binance. In the letter, CZ referred to two tweets. One of them was posted by Adam Cochran. The tweet introduced a series of evidence used by the SEC in the lawsuit against Binance, including the chat records of Binance employees.
In the letter, CZ emphasized that Binance does not check employee chat records. And bluntly, the SEC's use of employee chats as evidence is "absurd."
Another tweet was the latest progress of Binance that CZ had released. Under this tweet, users expressed their love and support for Binance.
CZ said that Binance will still adhere to high ethical standards, "most importantly, we will always spare no effort to protect our users."

As you can see, even though this was a "personal" complaint made by two people 5 years ago, it did a lot of damage to our reputation (and theirs). I want to remind everyone:
Binance is cooperating with investigators. They usually ask for our chat history first. Everything you say could end up in court (or on the internet) someday.
By the way, we don't check employee chats. This is the first time I (CZ) see this.
It's ridiculous for the SEC to use this as a poster, but we'll let the lawyers take care of it.
More importantly, if you are not satisfied with working at Binance (or any company), you should talk to your manager and seriously consider your career options. Don't waste your energy and your life on things you don't like because you won't do well. If you stay, make sure you love your job and our mission: Money Freedom. We need people who are fully committed to this mission because we need to overcome "some" challenges to make it happen.

Read the comments below the tweet. While it's just a simple tweet, you'll see our users support our efforts to "keep building." I want to re-emphasize a line I've said before: in times of difficulty, let's keep our heads down and keep building products that people use.
While we may still see chats from other disgruntled employees or other things we (or I) haven't said carefully in the past, they'll also find that we've upheld high ethical standards and, most importantly, we've always gone to great lengths to protect our users. In this regard, we will never compromise. Even if some willfully choose to ignore, the truth will prevail.
Why? Because we own our values, each other and our users.
