As you may have heard, Mando and I recentlysold all our apes. I converted most of it to ETH and held it because I firmly believe in the value of ETH.
But I also think this year's NFT bear market is a rare opportunity. Below I will briefly introduce which NFTs I bought and why.

In my opinion, ETH still has about 5 times the appreciation space in the next 3 years. Even if that number is inaccurate, it's an attractive bet. I can hold large amounts of ETH without being bothered by market volatility. But I think there is something else that might outperform ETH.
In the world of NFT, I mainly focus on two elements:
cultural relevance
historical relevance
I wouldn't buy an NFT just because it's old enough, crap from 5 years ago would still be crap today, the NFT has to be truly culturally relevant.
I firmly believe that we are at the beginning of a "digital renaissance". The word is daunting, but what I want to say is that art has been around for centuries; we are just getting started, and this is a historic opportunity.
Everything looks grim, people are anxious with FOMO, many don't really believe in the movement, or don't have enough liquidity to survive the bear market. I believe a bear market is a time to buy, and here's what I'm buying. By the way, this is not financial advice.
Autoglyph @larvalabs(155 ETH)
Autoglyph is the first on-chain generative art in the history of Ethereum, born in 2019.
There are only 512 Autoglyphs in total and I thought I'd never be able to own one, but luckily it's down over 50% from its high. I think Autoglyph is a better choice than ETH.
Fidenzas @tylerxhobbs(82 ETH, 85 ETH)
Art Blocks were revolutionary and Fidenzas are the most iconic and I believe of universal aesthetic value.
I bought them after they were down 50% from their highs and they were down another 50% after I bought them. Haha, buying at the perfect time is not an easy task.
CryptoPunks @larvalabs(125 ETH)
Any stellar NFT collection has to include punk elements. I think the 3D glasses are a nice feature, the contrasting red and blue.
Skull of Luci @SamSpratt(78 ETH)
The Council is often compared to the Illuminati, which I dare not say, I think Sam Spratt is one of the most talented artists in this area, and he has achieved things that we cannot match.
Broken Keys @lphaCentauriKid(9.9 ETH)
My personal understanding of this series is that it is a "flag" and I have been following its progress. I love chess, so this piece had a natural appeal to me.
Gazers @MattKaneArtist(15 ETH)
This is what I bought after it was down 60% from its high. The imagery of the work is adjusted according to the phases of the moon, this dynamic element makes the NFT unique and cannot be replicated by traditional art.

Alien @rektguyNFT ( 6.9 ETH)
I love collecting rektguy and bought a lot of rare NFTs. The series has been out for a year, and I believe its culture will live on in the crypto world forever. PLEASE NOTE: ONLY 8 Aliens!

PEPE
No more art or NFTs here, I bet on PEPE and bought $100,000 worth of tokens when it had a market cap of $8 million, sadly I sold too early and missed out on a huge sum wealth.

Then I bought $80,000 of TURBO tokens when the market cap was $20 million and I thought it would be the next PEPE with 10x upside. These meme tokens have some potential, but I just see them as a low probability gamble.
I have also purchased a few other NFTs and for now I will be patient and wait for the opportunity to arise. I like the balance of investing and collecting, it allows me to make decent returns in a bull market while owning some cool art.
Mando and I also jointly own two XCOPY 1/1's, some grifters and a Nakamoto Rare Pepe card which I think is very important to any meaningful collection.
