Celer State Guardian Network (hereinafter referred to as SGN) 2.0 has been successfully upgraded, address:sgn.celer.network. SGN 2.0 provides CELR stakers with a new Staking interface and higher value capture. In addition to regular PoS staking rewards, CELR stakers can also obtain transaction fee income from multi-chain dApps and Celer cBridge based on the Celer cross-chain message framework (hereinafter referred to as Celer IM).
SGN is a tendermint based PoS blockchain that uses the same security mechanisms as other PoS blockchains like Cosmos and Polygon. As a message router between various blockchains, SGN facilitates generalized messaging and cross-chain fund transfers. SGN is the core component of Celer's overall architecture. Other products under Celer Network, including Celer cBridge and Celer IM, highly utilize SGN's PoS security, fast confirmation and low-cost features in cross-chain transactions.
Compared with SGN1.0, SGN2.0 focuses on optimizing its ability to capture value from transactions: for cBridge, the value captured by SGN is based on the size of each transaction it processes in the cBridge fund pool mode; for Celer IM For , value capture is based on the size of cross-chain messages.
CELR stakers can obtain SGN stake and transaction rewards without running a node. SGN verifiers can preset a certain commission ratio and draw future pledge and transaction rewards of pledgers in proportion, so that pledgers can still enjoy relevant CELR pledge income without running nodes.
With the upgrade and iteration of the SGN 2.0 mainnet, the first batch of SGN1.0 verifiers have successfully completed the migration to SGN2.0 and are ready for new pledges. From March 16th, in order to better assist users in staking migration, withdrawal and staking from SGN1.0 will be completed immediately without a 7-day waiting period.
To complete the migration from SGN1.0 to SGN 2.0, three steps are required:

SGN 1.0 will stop generating staking rewards from March 23, 2022, but the withdrawal interface will remain open indefinitely.
In addition, beware of scams during the CELR pledge migration process.
