The Metaverse online hackathon competition "Metathon" jointly organized by Metaverse Alliance and LD Capital lasted for two months and ended on January 22, 2022. Received more than 100 projects from nearly 280 developers from 13 different countries. After two rounds of evaluation, preliminary and final, 22 outstanding developer teams stood out.
In order to ensure the professionalism and fairness of this online hackathon, we invited 36 professional and influential judges in the industry. They come from top funds, such as Republic, Delphi Digital, Binance Labs, LD Capital, YGG, HashKey Capital, Huobi Ventures, OKEx Blockdream Ventures, KuCoin Labs, DHVC, SpringWind Venture, NGC, Kardiachain, MEXC Pioneer, etc.; top public chains , such as Solana, Flow, Neo, Klaytn, etc.; and top projects in the metaverse track, such as Cradles illuvium, Bigtime, Mask Network, Impossible Finance, Chain IDE, etc.

During the Metathon review process, each professional jury will score ten random projects in the final according to six review dimensions. The latitude of evaluation includes project growth potential, functionality, innovation, implementation, design quality, technical completion and complexity. Each project will be scored by at least five judges and will get an average score. The three projects with the highest average score will be the top three in each track.

Notes on awards
1. Considering the passing score and the different opinions of the judges, we decided to select a winner from the DAO track.
2. There are four projects that did not specify the tracks they belong to in the preliminary competition. We will divide them into the corresponding tracks according to the opinions of the judges.
3. Regarding Grants from Cradles, NEO, Klyayth, Multiverse, and LD Capital, the Metaverse Alliance team will communicate closely with Sponsors to help Sponsors connect with teams deployed on their ecosystems. Sponsors reserve the right to select projects for funding and reserve the right not to award any projects.
