World Mobile launches aerial base station, bringing unprecedented network communication experience to Africa
World Mobile is the first network communication service built on the blockchain and jointly operated and managed by users. The aerial base station consists of a helium-filled shell and high-altitude craft with stabilizing fins. The unique tri-series structure limits the movement of the airship in the air (pitch, roll and yaw) in order to effectively stabilize the telecommunications coverage and guarantee that the connection will not fall in or out. The airboat is connected to a movable mooring platform with built-in software that adjusts the airboat's position according to wind conditions. The onboard communications system uses beamforming technology (a technique that focuses wireless signals onto specific receiving devices) to allow 3G, 4G and 5G handsets to connect directly, and to nearby World Mobile air nodes via a hybrid spectrum.
