The story began when I took out my mobile phone and searched for a suitable hotel in the airport shuttle. It takes an hour to drive to the destination ChiliPad (Airbnb), and I am already a little tired. The discomfort I felt was actually my nervous system making excuses for my anxiety because I was about to face 12 "strangers". This is my first meeting with online friends in real life, but I feel a little strange. Airport hotel booked. Now I have no way out.
As I waited for the Uber driver to arrive, the cold wind brushed my cheeks and immediately froze my mind. The Uber came and I got in the car with the windows open because the drive was nearly an hour long. When I started to feel sleepy, the feeling of riding in the car was not so bad. We finally turned a corner and pulled up in front of the ChiliPad.
Walking up the steps to the door is not an easy task. Because it was too dark around. I could vaguely hear people talking, but wasn't sure if it was inside the house or outside. I opened the door, and two people sitting on the sofa beside me greeted me. I asked them where the others were and they pointed to the backyard.

MetaDreamer took this photo
I slowly approached him as he operated five electronic devices simultaneously. Somehow, his arm was able to break free without breaking the expensive hardware. I remember thinking, this pose is sure to impress.
When I think of MetaDreamer now, I can always think of his smile. His smile is light but contagious. A person may have the choice of a fake smile or a real smile when taking a photo, but MetaDreamer's photos are always genuine. To me, this is one of his more nuanced skills. He can demonstrate his reliability without words.
MetaDreamer pulled out his camera and started taking pictures. As you can see from the picture above, he is very talented. After taking a boring photo, he started to browse the web on the tablet. ADHD is on full display tonight and well into the wee hours of the morning. . .
I sit on a high stool so I can get the best view of the room from the vantage point. I saw MetaDreamer looking at some blueprints, and it dawned on me that the patterns on his tablet were the same pattern on the back of his denim jacket. Although I seemed to know the answer, I asked him, "Did you make that jacket yourself?" He showed me the program he used to design the drawings, and then was intrigued by the other stories people told around the fire Attention. In the time before dawn, I sat next to MetaDreamer, quietly observing. I am slowly accepting what is in front of me.
A few weeks after our MCON encounter, I was able to interview MetaDreamer. The interview was interesting because we almost jumped from one topic to another entirely, and the interview lost its original structure. Sometimes I wonder, does this need to be controlled? But I'm still blown away by the breadth and depth of his knowledge. It's like he knows everything about what we're discussing, like the back of his hand. He even joked about being a "MetaHobby" collector. Basically, his hobby is collecting. We discussed many things, including DAO (of course), life, ambition, motivation, inspiration and many other things.
Before we dive into this topic, I want to give a big thank you to the people and resources that have helped me a lot.

previous life...
MetaDreamer is a dreamer. He was never afraid to think big and execute those ideas. Turning those dreams into reality is what makes MetaDreamer so special. The ability to create these dreams is driven by the thought and willingness to try.
As a child, MetaDreamer dreamed of becoming an inventor. He would spend a long time designing systems or mechanisms, like…
Knife with five blades for more efficient onion chopping
Shower with buttons for dispensing soap

From an early age, MetaDreamer displayed an insatiable curiosity that eventually led him to computing. MetaDreamer's father worked in the IT industry and gave him his first computer (also called a home computer) when he was three years old. He spent a lot of time and energy learning and growing on it. He likes to play games. The first games he played were MS-DOS games like Doom and Prince of Persia. Later, he came into contact with "Runescape". MetaDreamer mentioned that the game helped him understand economics, digital currency, NFT, and entrepreneurship.
By the way...only while writing this paragraph did I start to realize how inherently technology is for a new generation of people...I'm 100% a crypto age baby boomer. I can imagine MetaDreamer must appreciate and agree with this quote from Bane (boom and technology):
"You're just used to the darkness. I was born and shaped by it."
There's a little niche in MetaDreamer's head, parodying what I consider myself a baby boomer. After gaining these valuable experiences, MetaDreamer began to spend time making and selling computers. He would buy those parts individually, assemble them and sell them on Kijiji (Craigslist in Canada) for a profit. Of course, these services are free for friends. He also only accepts cash transactions because he is not old enough to open a bank account. I guess he doesn't have a bank account either :).
At one point, MetaDreamer had amassed $20,000, which he stashed in his closet. At the same time (2011) he started mining bitcoins, which he discovered by accident on the forums of the game "Runescape". Oh thank you so much Runescape.
This entrepreneurial spirit with MetaDreamer continued into college, where he majored in computer engineering.
For a more in-depth look at his experience, read Cooper Turley's article: "Meet Hammad: MetaDreamer》
Harnessing Chaos
I could feel his satisfaction when he started telling his story. As if one had completed the puzzle, nothing else mattered. "I don't take myself too seriously," he replied. MetaDreamer thrives on out-of-order.
he can……
use out of order
When we changed the subject again, MetaDreamer mentioned that it was difficult to follow a structure. He talked about his ADHD, saying it was both a blessing and a curse. When I write this sentence, I empathize with people who are sometimes overwhelmed by too many thoughts. Under the cover of chaos, I can still clearly see the underlying structure (or process) of MetaDreamer's operation. I believe it just happens on a faster cycle. MetaDreamer's cycle starts at 8:30 am (when he wakes up) and ends at 2 am. Except at night, he has a lot of rest periods during the day (about 4 hours total) where he relaxes.
Create space to decompress
When it comes to improving my lifestyle, I always struggle with not knowing when to tighten and relax. Obviously, MetaDreamer has far more experience with this than I do. I believe he knows the concept of slack in life. He's not overly obsessed with how things are done, which shows maturity beyond his years. This is shocking because MetaDreamer is always in a fragile state. He firmly pointed out, "Sometimes there must be something in destiny, and there is no time in destiny, so don't force it."
MetaDreamer started working on the DAO as an architect, however, he now spends most of his time coordinating (i.e. sending messages and such). He likes to plan a vision, but also loses time to focus on developing and improving new products. This conflict (in time) got us talking about cloning ourselves...MetaDreamer told us a cool story from the anime One-Punch Man. A character in the anime clones itself and loses some advantage with each clone. It's actually kind of stupid in nature. MetaDreamer hopes to automate this part of his coordination in the future.
Inspire yourself to be...
We talked a lot about inspiration. Inspiration comes from various sources, both internal and external. Obviously, his parents inspired him. MetaDreamer's parents are first-generation Canadian immigrants, and they always wanted to provide MetaDreamer with the best life, very selfless.
MetaDreamer mentions others as inspirations to him, including (Peter and James Young), but for me the one that stands out the most is Virgil Griffith. His voice changed when he started saying Virgil's name, pointing out how much he contributed to the Ethereum community. He went a step further by emphasizing that one of his favorite articles (which also helped him clarify his Web3 strategy) was by Virgil ("Ethereum is a truly game-changing technology"). I began to wonder how Virgil influenced MetaDreamer like a parent. MetaDreamer later told me about Virgil's influence in Muslim finance. He told me how Virgil helped Ethereum achieve "halal certification," allowing millions of Muslims to own the digital asset.

Stackin’ cred
MetaDreamer loves DAOs. They were chaotic and dynamic, much like the way his mind worked. He participated in and helped develop many other projects with DAO concept, including MetaFactory, RaidGuild, MetaCartel and the MetaGame.
Now his focus is on the idea behind MetaCred.
MetaCred is a web3 native tool used to coordinate or change the behavior of Layer0. In the same way that you use tools like Twitter, Discord or Telegram to communicate and coordinate, you can use MetaCred instead. MetaCred allows people to rate, sign and record valuable things, and verify this information (identify users) in the control panel (Dashboard).
I don't want to say too much about the project, but the idea is just awesome. And with that came a great plan.
