Odaily reports that CoreWeave and Broadcom have voiced opposition to a stock tokenization trading application proposed by OKXICE, a joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). Odaily News: Pump.fun co-founder alon posted on X platform stating that since Pump's Custom Pairs feature launched last month, approximately $5.9 million worth of PUMP has exited circulation, representing 0.33% of the current circulating supply. This mainly includes tokens locked in liquidity pools, burned tokens, and tokens held in protocol fee wallets.
He noted that if PUMP-related trading pair activity maintains its current level, on an annualized basis, the amount of PUMP exiting circulation each year would be equivalent to approximately 3.35% of the current circulating supply. Additionally, he believes that as on-chain trading activity grows, Custom Pairs could bring more trading volume and buy-side demand to smaller-cap meme coins and other on-chain tokens.

Rish and fellow co-founder Manan will be leaving, while the remaining Neynar employees will join Network School to continue developing Farcaster. Neynar acquired the platform from Farcaster's original developer Merkle Manufactory in January of this year, with the deal also including token issuance platform Clanker. Odaily reports: Bitcoin News posted on X that Citizen Lab researchers have discovered the first publicly documented case of mercenary spyware being delivered through targeted online advertising, in which malicious code can initiate infection once an ad loads, without the user needing to click or download anything. The campaign is called "AdFection." At least 45 Al Jazeera devices were targeted between 2024 and 2025, and the operation has been linked to Israeli advertising company Discover-Tech and spyware vendor Candiru.
After analyzing approximately 4 billion ad bidding records, researchers found that Discover-Tech's ads had appeared on nearly 200,000 websites and apps worldwide, but ad exposure does not necessarily lead to infection. Discover-Tech previously conducted business through major ad networks, including Google, and was removed after the investigation.
Odaily News: Solana ecosystem development company Anza stated that the Alpenglow mainnet beta will activate on October 21, 2026, at 14:50 UTC. Once the upgrade is complete, transaction finality is expected to be reduced from approximately 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds.
Alpenglow will replace the existing TowerBFT voting mechanism with Votor, allowing validators to avoid writing every vote on-chain and instead confirm consensus through direct communication aggregated into smaller records. The network is expected to maintain the existing system for approximately 18 minutes before switching to Votor once staked SOL reaches 82% of the validator set.
Another component of Alpenglow, Rotor, will adjust how new blocks are distributed among validators, but no activation date has been announced yet. This upgrade includes only Votor, and Solana will temporarily focus on replacing its consensus mechanism. (Bitcoin.com News)
