Trader Killa: Won't Close Position Until Bitcoin Reaches $126,000

Odaily report: Trader Killa posted that Bitcoin's rise is not necessarily because the trend follows logic—sometimes it's precisely because the market defies conventional reasoning. If market movements always followed logic and every fluctuation could be explained rationally, everyone would make money, but the Bitcoin market is not like that. Killa stated that he remains bullish on Bitcoin and holds a long BTC position, and will not close it until the price reaches $126,000.

Cysic Cross-Chain Bridge Paused After Unauthorized Minting of 10 Million CYS Tokens

Odaily reports: The crypto project Cysic has announced that its cross-chain bridge was paused on Saturday after an attacker exploited a processing flaw to mint 10 million CYS tokens without authorization on BNB Smart Chain. Preliminary investigations indicate that the attacker may have gained unauthorized access to the database supporting the bridge.

The unauthorized minting occurred at 12:31:38 UTC, and Cysic blacklisted the receiving address in the token contract at 13:47:52. The address currently still holds approximately 2.8 million CYS, and related transfers have been restricted.

Cysic stated that the incident only involved cross-chain bridge message processing and token minting, and did not affect the mainnet or other operating systems, nor did it result in the theft or unauthorized transfer of existing CYS or other assets in user wallets. Token transfers, swaps, and actual losses are still under review, and the company has engaged security firms and plans to release a follow-up report. (Cointelegraph)

Analysis: The market's pricing power over inflation is rapidly fading, and the long-end pricing anchor has clearly shifted to the "growth/AI cycle"

Odaily reports: CITIC Securities released a research report noting that U.S. September CPI came in at 3.7% year-over-year and PPI at 6.3% year-over-year, both exceeding expectations, but the reaction of long-end U.S. Treasury yields quickly faded within 24 hours: after the CPI release on October 14, the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield first spiked about 13bp to 5.325%, then gave back the gains and closed lower; by October 15, after the PPI release, the 10-year yield rose only very slightly by about 2.5bp, the 30-year yield fell directly, and the 10-year yield then quickly dropped back to around 5.048%.

The market's pricing power over inflation is rapidly fading, and the long-end pricing anchor has clearly shifted to the "growth/AI cycle"—the "recession" it is pricing is essentially the tail risk of a downturn in the AI capital expenditure cycle, rather than a traditional demand recession, and it can coexist with stagflation. This is still left-side exploratory pricing and does not yet constitute trend confirmation. In the short term, U.S. equities may continue sector rotation, with capital switching from AI themes to energy, defensive consumer staples, and healthcare, which may benefit from expectations of a Democratic sweep in the midterm elections. Hong Kong stocks may also benefit from a reversal in overseas AI hardware trading, as well as capital allocation driven by Indonesia potentially being removed from the MSCI Emerging Markets Index.

Analyst: Small- and Mid-Cap Crypto Assets Significantly Outpacing BTC in Market Cap Growth

Odaily reports: Crypto analyst Darkfost stated that since late August, small- and mid-cap crypto assets have seen the strongest market cap growth, with the gap between their monthly average and yearly average market cap continuing to widen, and the relevant ratio now reaching 41%. By comparison, Bitcoin's ratio stands at 7%, while large-cap crypto assets are at just 3.5%.

Darkfost noted that this trend is relatively rare, as rallies are typically initiated by Bitcoin first, as was the case in the market performance after the 2023 bear market ended. However, small- and mid-cap assets are more sensitive to market changes, and the current trend could also reverse rapidly.

Nscale Hit by Another Blow Ahead of IPO: Microsoft Exits Data Center Partnership

Odaily: Microsoft (MSFT.O) has withdrawn from a data center partnership project with UK emerging cloud service provider Nscale in Loughton, Essex, UK. The move comes at a critical time as Nscale prepares for its IPO, adding further uncertainty to the startup's listing plans. Reports indicate that Microsoft did not specify the reason for terminating the partnership, but the project had been facing a series of delays. Local authorities have informed Nscale that power supply for the facility is not expected to be available until the 2030s.

Additionally, Nscale's flagship project in Norway is approximately six months behind schedule, with only 6.4 megawatts of its planned 30-megawatt data center capacity currently operational. According to Nscale's IPO filing, approximately 85% of the company's contracts depend on Microsoft and Anthropic. Microsoft had originally planned to become the primary tenant of Nscale's first UK data center in Essex. Microsoft's withdrawal will deal a blow to Nscale. The company is seeking to raise up to $3 billion through its IPO, with a listing potentially as early as this month. (The Daily Telegraph)

"The AI Stock Oracle" Leopold's fund faces another selloff after heavily betting on AI stocks in early September, with 7 holdings falling an average of 18.3%

Odaily Report: After being forced to liquidate in July of this year, "AI Stock Oracle" Leopold Aschenbrenner's fund Situational Awareness has re-entered AI-related stocks and purchased hundreds of millions of dollars in options in early September.

However, since September 8, 6 of the 7 stocks it focused on have fallen sharply: CoreWeave dropped 37.4%, SK Hynix fell 25.8%, SanDisk declined 23.8%, DRAM fell 22.9%, Bloom Energy dropped 18.1%, and Intel fell 9.4%. Only AMD bucked the trend with a 9.1% gain, while the 7 stocks fell an average of 18.3%.

The actual investment losses of Situational Awareness still depend on position size, option terms, and subsequent trades. However, even with a long-term bullish view on AI development, options investments may still suffer losses if market movements do not align with the expected timeline. (Coin Bureau)

Hyperliquid Adjusts Trading Priority Mechanism, Some CoreWriter Users Will Be Downgraded

Odaily reports that Hyperliquid has announced adjustments to its write priority fees rules, with the changes now live on testnet, primarily affecting latency-sensitive trading users. The new rules include:

Mempool priority applies only to Standard abstraction;

Aside from cancellations, order placements, and order modifications, other HyperCore operations will cause the relevant account's operations to be downgraded before confirmation;

Users who have previously sent CoreWriter operations directly will have their mempool priority lowered;

Additionally, using IOC and ALO priority fees requires holding at least 10 HYPE in delegatable balance.
