Odaily News: According to Magic Eden monitoring, a recently discovered vulnerability involves the NFT trading protocol Payment Processor V2 maintained by Limit Break. This protocol was previously used by Magic Eden for trade settlement in the 2024 EVM market. Magic Eden stopped using the protocol in October 2024 and shut down the EVM market in the first quarter of 2026, so the vulnerability did not affect currently active listings. NFTs listed on the Magic Eden EVM market between February and October 2024 may be affected.

The fund began trading on NYSE Arca on August 25 and surpassed $500 million in assets within two weeks.
ZCSH was renamed from Grayscale Zcash Trust, which was established in October 2017 and already held ZEC at the time of listing; meanwhile, the price of ZEC has roughly doubled since the ETF's listing, driving the fund's asset growth. On September 8, Grayscale's parent group DCG International Investments exchanged 85,705.32563297 ZEC for approximately $100 million in ZCSH shares. Excluding this non-cash transaction, external new capital amounted to approximately $200 million.

Odaily reports: According to monitoring by Quit, at 9 AM EST today, an attacker exploited a vulnerability in Payment Processor V2 to steal 10 Meebits, 50 Otherdeeds, 10 WoW, and 235 Desperate Apewives. More than 12 hours after the incident, no one had reported it, and an investigation subsequently revealed that a large number of NFTs were facing the same risk. Quit stated that after contacting the LimitBreak team, they quickly paused the similarly affected Payment Processor V3. However, V2 could not be paused, and V3 on ApeChain was also temporarily in a state where it could not be paused, so the team carried out a white hat operation, transferring and protecting a total of 23,155 NFTs worth over $5.7 million. The team later discovered that the vulnerability could also be used in reverse to steal WETH, with approximately 660 WETH at risk, but these could not be recovered in time. Currently, all rescued NFTs have been transferred to secure addresses, and holders will be able to claim their assets in the future after revoking approvals for the vulnerable contracts.
Odaily News - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released its latest annual report, citing external estimates that global artificial intelligence (AI) investment led by the private sector could exceed $2 trillion this year, making it one of the strongest drivers of economic growth in recent years.
The report notes that AI-related technology investment is estimated to have contributed 0.5 percentage points to US GDP growth in 2025, and the acceleration in US productivity growth in recent years partly reflects the early positive impact of AI applications. However, the report also warns of hidden concerns behind the AI investment boom. As the scale of related infrastructure and projects continues to expand, some high-cost investments are increasingly reliant on debt financing. If future returns fall short of expectations, it could trigger a chain reaction including significant asset valuation adjustments, wealth shrinkage, and corporate layoffs.
Odaily reports, according to Blockaid monitoring, attackers exploited Payment Processor V2 to impersonate NFT holders and transfer NFTs previously authorized for that contract at zero price. As of now, approximately 3 transactions involving NFTs worth around $1.7 million have been stolen. Users who have previously authorized Payment Processor V2 as an NFT operator should revoke authorization immediately.
Odaily News: According to monitoring by Quit, users should revoke their contract approvals for Ethereum Payment Processor V2 and ApeChain Payment Processor V3 as soon as possible, using revoke.cash or other similar tools. Quit stated that if a user's assets were transferred without authorization and are currently held at an address starting with 0x71cf, the relevant assets are in a safe state, but affected users still need to revoke the aforementioned contract approvals.
Previously, NFT marketplace Magic Eden was suspected of having an NFT security vulnerability, with a white hat hacker transferring 3,832 NFTs from hundreds of wallets, worth approximately $1.5 million. Quit stated that this transfer was a white hat operation, and the relevant NFTs are currently held at an address starting with 0x71cF and will all be returned once the risk is resolved.
