Its model channels traders' losses to support on-chain liquidity pools, with losses exceeding the pool's size cap distributed to PAPER stakers. Ansem said the model could expand beyond perpetual contracts into speculative games and online entertainment, but whether it can continue attracting users, sustaining liquidity, and achieving long-term growth remains to be validated by market performance.

Odaily reports: CME is set to launch Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) futures on October 19, with both products offering standard and micro contracts: BCH contracts will be sized at 250 and 25 tokens respectively, while UNI contracts will be sized at 10,000 and 1,000 tokens respectively. With the launch, CME's single-asset crypto futures will increase to 11; the previously launched Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui futures have already surpassed $1 billion in notional trading volume this year.
Giovanni Vicioso, CME's Global Head of Crypto Products, said that as the crypto market continues to mature, market participants need more regulated tools to manage price risk. As of publication, the relevant product pages still carry a "pending regulatory review" label. If UNI futures trade for a full six months as scheduled, it will satisfy the SEC's general listing standards requirement that the underlying futures must trade on a CFTC-regulated designated contract market for at least six months, providing a listing pathway for Bitwise's pending spot Uniswap ETF.
