In addition to BTC and ETH, both wallets also hold short positions in assets including SOL, HYPE, ENA, XRP, SUI, and PUMP. (Bitcoin.com News)
Odaily News: Abstract has announced that the network will gradually wind down, with the chain set to cease operations on December 15, 2026, after which any funds not migrated will become inaccessible. Users can migrate their assets through the official migration center or the native cross-chain bridge, with the native bridge expected to have a delay of approximately 3 hours. Abstract stated that a chain focused on consumer-grade crypto is difficult to sustain as a standalone model, citing factors such as a limited DeFi ecosystem and weak on-chain liquidity that have led to stagnant network growth. Abstract, launched by the Pudgy Penguins team, is an Ethereum Layer 2 network that had previously attracted over 400,000 users and deployed more than 144 applications. Abstract is reminding users to beware of fraudulent migration websites.
Odaily News: The UK government has appointed Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, Morgan Stanley, NatWest, and RBC Capital Markets as joint lead managers for its first digital-native government bond, the Digital Gilt Instrument (DIGIT), which is expected to be issued in the first quarter of 2027. DIGIT will be issued through a platform within the UK Digital Securities Sandbox and will test the application of distributed ledger technology in the issuance and full lifecycle of government bonds, including on-chain settlement. HSBC was appointed in February as the distributed ledger technology provider for the pilot, and in July reached an agreement with London Stock Exchange Group to develop a connectivity solution for a digital securities depository. (Cointelegraph)
