Odaily reports: Gonçalo Magalhães, Head of Security at Immunefi, stated that an unnamed Base vault suffered an approximately $6 million exploit, while still holding around $31.7 million in assets at the time of the incident. According to a briefing, the attacker used a Safe multisig wallet to add a malicious contract to the vault's lending whitelist, then withdrew 1,783 aBaswstETH and swapped it for approximately 1,783 wstETH via AaveV3. Gonçalo Magalhães noted that while whitelisted addresses may appear secure, approved addresses can withdraw assets without collateral, constituting a vulnerability; this whitelist weakness had been discovered the previous week, but researchers lacked a clear disclosure channel. More than 24 hours after the incident, no team had publicly claimed responsibility or disclosed remediation measures.
Odaily News: Jan van Eck stated that approving more nuclear power projects could simultaneously boost AI and Bitcoin: on one hand by enhancing AI value, and on the other by easing Bitcoin selling pressure through providing cheaper energy to miners. Bipartisan support for nuclear energy in the U.S. is strong, with the goal of quadrupling nuclear power output within 25 years, as evidenced by the accelerated restart of the Three Mile Island nuclear reactor. Matthew Sigel, Head of Digital Assets Research at VanEck, stated that miners hold long-term power contracts and infrastructure, possessing undervalued optionality value; if miners shift toward AI contract revenue, their pressure to sell Bitcoin will correspondingly decrease.

Odaily News: The Cardano Foundation has introduced the CIP-0113 token standard, allowing issuers of regulated assets to restrict recipients based on predefined rules and to freeze, seize, or transfer token holdings. CIP-0113 requires compliance checks to be executed on every transfer, including identity verification and sanctions list screening. Issuers can choose or customize rules and update them as regulatory requirements change; under the authorization mechanism, relevant parties can transfer tokens without the holder's consent. The safe harbor contains 14 requirements, including that shares be listed on a national exchange, that only a single digital asset be held, that assets be custodied by a qualified custodian, that the liquidity policy be approved by the SEC, and that staking rewards not be hoarded.
