Solana's x402 Launches USDC Batch Payments, BlockRunAI Says It Can Save Over $20,000 Per Month

Odaily Report: Blockchain platform Solana has launched x402 batch payment functionality through PayAI Network and BlockRunAI, enabling AI agents to initiate multiple USDC payments and settle them all through a single on-chain transaction.

BlockRunAI has already applied this technology to its AI model routing service. The company states that by consolidating multiple model calls into a single USDC settlement, it can save over $20,000 per month in network fees and reduce latency by approximately 10x; its service provides access to over 113 AI models through a single endpoint.

Solana development organization Anza stated that the upgrade to ultimately reduce Solana's block time to 200 milliseconds is expected to go live around 15:00 UTC on October 9, having previously been gradually reduced from 400 milliseconds to 350, 300, and 250 milliseconds. (Bitcoin.com News)

Polymarket CEO Calls Chasing 100x Tokens "Irrational Exuberance"

Odaily News: Shayne Coplan, CEO of prediction market platform Polymarket, stated that chasing tokens that could appreciate 100x amounts to "irrational exuberance" and a game of "greater fool theory." Some traders attempt to sell before token prices go to zero, though a few may accumulate wealth in the process.

Coplan pointed out that Polymarket users prefer to participate in event trading with relatively predictable odds, rather than searching for the next 100x token. Polymarket's prediction trading volume over the past 7 days reached $1.21 billion, while Kalshi's was $2.3 billion during the same period.

Multiple U.S. states have taken legal action against Polymarket, Kalshi, or both regarding sports event contracts, and several countries and regions have also restricted or blocked access to Polymarket. (Cointelegraph)

The company plans to continue accumulating Bitcoin and increasing its AI stock holdings, intending to fund dual-treasury purchases through operating cash flow, perpetual preferred securities offering programs, and ATM stock issuance mechanisms. Currently, the company has no plans to purchase assets through debt financing or to pledge its Bitcoin and AI stock holdings. CEO Roger James Hamilton stated that while this purchase was limited in scale, it marks the company's resumption of its Bitcoin accumulation strategy.
